i never participate and i absolutely enjoy watching them waste their money on tickets with a smug haughtiness that only an active jw can muster.
The last draw I got 3 out of 6 and of the other 3 two were off by one digit.
I once matched the first three digits of a powerball ticket that had a jackpot over 200 million. What an exhilirating fraction of a second that was.

I always chip in, just for that reason. We haven't done it in a while where I work. The lady that used to collect the money to buy the tickets no longer works here. She went on medical leave and never came back. I smell a rat.

i tried watching the lor movies today, but my god, it's just battle after battle after battle and frodo, cute guy though he is, wimping out all over the place and having to be carried by everyone.. dull... i have never succeeded in watching those damn movies from beginning to end..
I agree with the old Star Trek series from the 60's. I was a huge fan of TNG, though. They spent a lot more time with character development than the original.
